Arty Farty Georgie Bag Card
Using the Arty Farty Georgie template, I have made a card suitable for a young teenager.

Materials
Arty Farty Georgie template
3 sheets of pearlescent cream card
1 sheet of lilac pearlescent card
Small piece of co-ordinating pearlescent card
Backing Paper
K & Co. tag to go
Eyelets
Big Bite
Sizzix texture plate
Big Shot

Step 1
Taking the Arty Farty template, cut out the main part of the bag in the lilac card.
Using the contrasting card, cut out the handles etc.
I then put the 2 main parts of the bag through the Big Shot using a texture plate to add dimension to the main part of the bag.
Using a white Sakura pen, I outlined the smaller parts of the bag, ie handles, pocket etc. by drawing a stitched effect.
|
 |
|
Step 2
Using my Big Bite, I punched holes for decoration on the corner pieces, trim for the top of the bag, and used a gromlet in the centre of the pocket for decoration.
I then attached the handles to the main part of the bag. Remember, that the back part of the bag must face forward and the rear handle is attached from the back.
|
 |
|
Step 3
To assemble the bag, I used double sided tape around the main part of the bag leaving the top open.
I attached the pocket, corner pieces and strip along the front of the bag by using 1mm foam pads.
The top of the bag is open and a gift token or secret message could be inserted

 |
|
Step 4
For the card I used one sheet of A4 cream pearlescent card folded in half to make an C5 card.
I used a 6 x 6 sheet of pretty backing paper attached on the diagonal. From another sheet of the same paper I cut out some of the flowers and added them to the edges of the backing paper to take away the straight lines. I also added glitter glue just to hi-light some of the flowers.
I put 3 flower eyelets on the bottom right hand corner and a K & Co. tag to the top right hand corner again using the big bite.
|
 |
|
Step 5
Using double sided tape, I then attached the bag to the front of the card.
|
 |
|
Finally
Using the template provided, cut out the box and assemble with an acetate aperture on the lid so the card is visible inside.
I have just edged the aperture with outline border peel-off's coloured purple to tie in with the rest of the card.
