Father's Day Slider Card
Here is a Slider Card for Father's Day.
Materials
1 A4 sheet of card - I have used blue pearlescent
Strip of white card
Peel off's
Decoupage
Craft Knife
Ruler
Double sided tape
Silicone glue or foam pads
Brad and small piece of ribbon
Scoring tool
Step 1
Taking the sheet of A4 card, cut in half to make 2 pieces of A5 card.
Using the ruler mark 1 inch border around the whole of one sheet of card. This can be done on the back as it will not be visible.
Step 2
Using the ruler and knife cut 3 sides along the border leaving the top piece intact.
Score along the top of the un-cut piece and through the centre of the flap made.
Step 3
Using the piece of white card, cut to the same width as the cut out centre piece of the blue card and slightly shorter than the piece of A5 card. Score approximately half an inch in from one end.
Step 4
Put a piece of double sided tape along the short fold of the white card and attach to bottom of the centre cut out so that when it is folded back the 'seam' is on the inside.
Step 5
Again, taking the double sided tape, attach to 3 sides of the main card leaving the top piece free.
The piece of white card should be flat against the back of the card.
Step 6
Remove the backing off the double sided tape and attach to the other piece of A5 card with the right side facing upwards.
You can now embellish your card.
Step 7
I have used peel off borders and corners and decoupaged a Dart Board. This has been layered onto silver mirri card. The word bullseye has been added underneath the decoupage
When attaching the main embellishment, remember to only stick on the lower half as the fold across the centre of the middle flap will fold when the slider is pulled.
I have also cut a semi-circle at the top of the front piece of card and attached a small piece of ribbon with a brad so that the slider can be easily pulled.
When the slider is pulled back, a message can be revealed.
Finally
A standard C5 envelope can be used to send this card.

I had seen this card demonstrated on TV and thought that it would be ideal for Father's day as it is a little bit different.
I hope you enjoy making it
