Penny Spinner Card
These cards seem to be rather popular, so here is my interpretation of them.

Round Foam pads
Chipboard letters and numbers
Backing paper
ruler
craft knife
double sided tape
mirri card
Big shot
Crop a dial and eyelets
Big Flower Die

Step 1
Score and crease the A4 sheet of card which is to be used in the landscape position.
Working from the bottom up on the front of the card, I have measured 4cms and 5cms from the base edge of the card and marked a line, 4cms in from each side.
Using your ruler and craft knife cut out the aperture.
step 2
I then covered most of the front of the card with a paisley print paper and a piece of green mirri card big enough to go overlap the aperture top and bottom and over hang the sides and attached it with double sided tape
Step 3
Then I turned the card over and working from the back using the ruler and craft knife, I cut the aperture through the backing paper and mirri card attached to the front.
Step 4
I then tore a piece of clear vellum into a strip and coloured the edges with an Aqua Brilliance ink pad just to hi-light them.
I put this piece of vellum through the Xyron 250 sticker maker and attached it to the front of the card. By using the sticker maker on vellum the adhesive is not visible through the vellum.
I have also cut out the letters 'Happy Birthday' in pale green glitter board using the Cricut, but small chipboard letters would do just as well. I have also used the crop a dile to punch and set two small eyelets in the top left hand corner.
Step 5
To make the spinner I have cut flower shapes from a Sizzix large die, two of the large and one of the smaller ones. One large and the smaller one I have cut in the same green mirri board and the middle one in a contrasting card and glued them together.
I cut out the numbers '21' on the Cricut in deep yellow glitter board and stuck them on top.
Step 6
Turning the spinner over, using double sided tape, stick down one of the pennies to the centre of the flower.
Using two round foam pads that will fit easily through the aperture, attach them one on top of the other to the centre of the flower, leaving the protective cover on the top foam pad.
Step 7
With the flower face down, place the card face down over the top with the foam pads through the aperture.
Step 8
Taking the second penny, place it centrally on top of the foam pads.
I have also covered the back of the penny with a circle of matching card which I think tidies up the inside of the card and looks better than a penny rolling around!

Finished result
Here is the card finished. As it is rocked from side to side the flower spins around.
